 Le Morne Brabant, a majestic mountain rising 556 meters above sea level, is one of Mauritius' most iconic landmarks.
 Located on the southwest peninsula of the island, this UNESCO World Heritage Site holds both historical and natural significance.

As you ascend, the trail unveils breathtaking panoramic views of theturquoise lagoon, lush coastline,
and rolling hills of the southwest.The final section of the hike presents an exhilarating challenge,requiring some
scrambling over rocky surfaces with the aid of yourhands for stability. But the reward is truly worth it: from the summitcross,
the island stretches before you in all its splendor, a sight thatwill stay with you forever.Beyond its natural beauty,
Le Morne Brabant is a symbol of freedom. In the 19th century, it served as a refuge for escapedslaves, making it a place of

Meeting point : On the parking of the commercial center (next to Wapalapam Restaurant)facing "Le Paradis Beachcomber" resort at Le Morne

Please note that the meeting point is not the actual starting point of the hike. Once all participants have arrived, they will need to follow the guide
—either in their taxi or rental car—to the trailhead, located approximately 6 km away at the foot of Le Morne Brabant mountain.

Itinerary duration : 3 - 4 hours
Meeting time :
5:50am or 1:50pm from 1st Nov to 31st March
6:50am or 12:50pm from 1st April to 31st Oct
Departure Time: Must arrive 15 min prior to meeting time

• Participant Guidelines:
- Minimum Age Requirement: 10 years old
- Minimum Participants: 2 pax
- Maximum Participants: 80 (which is divided into 4 groups of 20 participants)
- Minors need to be accompanied by an adult
- Participants must be physically capable in order to undertake the activity
- Trips are still carried out under rain unless the safety of the group is compromised

- Walking distance: 7 .2 km
- Elevation gain: 490m
- Elevation loss: 490m

Notes
- Minimum participant's age : 10 years old
- Min 2 participants / Maximum 20 participants
- Any minor is to be accommpanied by a paying adult
- You should be in good physical condition to participate in this hiking tour
- The tour will still be carried out under rainy conditions unless the supplier deems that this is putting
  the safety of the guests at risk
- You should bring suncream, mosquito spray, hats/caps,Trekking shoes & your own bottle of water
- Hiking Grade 3/4: Challenging.
Some sections of the hike require the use of hands on steep (60degree slope) sections for stability, with
close contact with the rock face as you ascend towards the summit. Good physical condition is
essential, as the trail involves steep inclines and uneven terrain. Participants should not have pre- existing knee, arm,
or balance issues that could be aggravated by scrambling or prolonged exertion

- You should contact us for seat availability 1 week before your intended excursion date
- Lateness - The supplier reserves the right to cancel your booking & no refund will be made
- In case you have already confirmed your excursion date but wishes to amend the date, you should contact
  us 72 hrs prior to the scheduled date.
- Any no shows will result in a 100% cancellation fee by the supplier
- The supplier reserves the right to amend the itinerary in case of bad weather conditions
